**POSITION:** Adjunct Faculty - Undergraduate Nursing
**QUALIFICATIONS:** Graduate degree with a BSN, or BSN and currently enrolled in a graduate program, or
BSN with additional credentials, relevant clinical nursing experience, active RN license in Virginia
**RESPONSIBILITIES:** To serve as an adjunct faculty member for the undergraduate nursing program, teaching
up to 9 credit hours per semester. Includes part of the following
- Undergraduate nursing clinical instruction, in person, at an adult health clinical agency:
- NURS 304 Fundamentals Practicum I
- Undergraduate nursing lecturer, in person at EMU Harrisonburg campus:
- NURS 302 Pathophysiology-Pharmacology for Nursing
- NURS 303 Foundations of Professional Nursing
- **POSITION DETAILS:** Faculty are contracted per course. Salary determined by education.
- **APPOINTMENT DATE**: Summer Nursing Semester, May 18 through August 14, 2026. EMU reserves the right
- to fill the position at any time or keep the position open. Clinical rotations vary in length and timing on Tuesdays
- and Thursdays throughout the semester. Lecture classes are block-scheduled for 2-4 hours on MWF.
