Registered Nurse

## Description

Provide direct, professional nursing care in compliance with laws, regulations, physician orders, and facility policies. Plan, implement, evaluate, and coordinate individualized resident care to promote the highest level of wellbeing. Communicate and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure continuity of care. Educate residents and families as needed, respond to emergencies, and uphold residents’ dignity, privacy, and rights at all times.

Maintain professionalism, participate in surveys/inspections, supervise and support nursing staff, and ensure timely, high-quality nursing interventions. Report incidents, grievances, exposures, and suspected abuse, neglect, fraud, or system security breaches. Safeguard confidential information, including protected health information and system access credentials, and follow all facility policies related to safety, documentation, and information security.

## Qualifications

Required Education and Experience  Must possess a current, unencumbered, active license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State  An Associate Degree in Nursing is required  2 years’ experience in Long-Term Care experience preferred  Six (6) months experience in rehabilitative and restorative nursing practices preferred  Strong utilization knowledge of Point Click Care preferred  Computer literacy skills (Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Office, Internet).
