**COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS**

• Annual Salary: $65,000-$80,000
• LOCATION: Westchester Center, 15 Skyline Drive, Hawthorne, NY 10532
• Fee for Service positions are also available for a classroom teacher with competitive benefits.

**RESPONSIBILITIES**

• As a special education classroom teacher, lead and coordinate all activities in a special education toddler developmental group.
• As a special education classroom teacher, supervise Teacher Assistants to help young children and toddlers maximize their potential.
• As a special education classroom teacher, develop collaborative relationships with parents and communicate effectively with parents through an electronic web portal.
• As a special education classroom teacher, submit daily session notes, progress reports, and other paperwork timely.

## Qualifications
**QUALIFICATION (only ONE of the following)**

• Bachelors or Master’s in Special Education WITH a Students with Disabilities B-2nd OR Special Education Permanent Certificate

Or Certificate or License in ONE of the following professions

• Social Work
• Occupational Therapy
• Physical Therapy
• Speech & Language Pathology
