**Server (Seasonal)**

Sheraton Virginia Beach Oceanfront, 3501 Atlantic Avenue

Seasonal server for lunch and dinner service. This is a tipped position: base rate $6.00/hour plus tips. Total compensation will meet or exceed Virginia's minimum wage of $12.77/hour.

Responsibilities

• Provide attentive, friendly food and beverage service to guests
• Take orders, deliver food and drinks, and process payments accurately
• Perform self-bussing, side work, and station setup/breakdown
• Maintain a clean, stocked, and organized service area
• Follow food-safety and responsible-alcohol-service standards

• Schedule: Seasonal through September 30. Evenings (approximately 2:00 PM–midnight), including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Compensation: $6.00/hour plus tips.

Requirements

• Must be 18 or older (position serves alcohol)
• Prior serving experience preferred
• Availability for nights, weekends, and holidays
• Ability to stand and move throughout an extended shift

## Qualifications

**Qualifications:**

• Previous Experience: Previous experience as a server in a restaurant or hospitality setting is preferred but not required. We welcome candidates with a positive attitude and a willingness to learn.
• Customer Focus: Passion for providing exceptional customer service and creating memorable dining experiences for guests.
• Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with guests and team members in a fast-paced environment.
• Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail and accuracy in order taking, serving, and handling transactions.
• Team Player: Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team and contribute to a positive work environment.
• Flexibility: Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, based on business needs.
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
• Ability to lift and carry trays of food and beverages.
