**Pay Range: $19.00 – $21.00 per hour, based on experience and level**

Shamin Hotels is seeking skilled Line Cooks to join the kitchen team at Catch 31 at the Hilton Virginia Beach Oceanfront. This posting covers our Cook 1 and Cook 2 levels; your level and starting pay are set by experience and station proficiency. If you work clean, move fast, and take pride in consistent, quality plates, we want to meet you.

**What You'll Do**

• Prepare and cook menu items to recipe and presentation standards across assigned stations (saute, grill, flat-top, fry, and others as trained).
• Set up, stock, and break down your station; follow prep lists and rotate product to control freshness and waste.
• Cook to order during service, keeping pace and quality up during high volume.
• Follow all food safety, sanitation, and HACCP standards, including proper temperatures, labeling, and storage.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area and equipment throughout the shift.
• Communicate clearly with the kitchen team and expo to keep tickets moving.**Levels**

**Schedule**
Availability for varied shifts — including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays — is required based on business needs.

## Qualifications
**Qualifications**

• Prior line cook experience required; level and pay set by station proficiency and years of experience.
• Working knowledge of kitchen equipment, knife skills, and standard cooking methods.
• Understanding of food safety and sanitation standards; ServSafe or equivalent a plus.
• Ability to work quickly and accurately in a fast-paced, high-volume kitchen.
• Ability to stand for extended periods, work in a hot environment, and lift up to 50 pounds.
• Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
