Central Services Technician (Per Diem)

## Description

The Central Services Technician is responsible for setting the daily priorities within the department under direct supervision from the O.R. Manager, Supervisor, RN, or Certified Surgical Technician. Performs a variety of routine cleaning tasks to maintain a high standard of cleanliness throughout the Operating Room.

**What You'll Do:**

• Ability to properly use tools and devices necessary to clean.
• Performs terminal cleans as set up by supervisors, follow policy.
• Understands how to properly use cleaning agents and compounds. Reviews the Material Safety Data sheets annually and as needed.
• Demonstrates competence in sterile techniques, infection control, and uses Standard Precaution.
• Decontaminates O.R. after procedure and sets room up for next case.

**What You'll Need:**

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Previous housekeeping experience desirable.

**Job Information:**

• 12-hour varied shifts, per diem.
• Starting wage $23.18 to $28.10 based on qualifications.
