Everyday Substitute Teacher for the District 2026-2027

**Major Areas of Accountability**

• Ability to follow and communicate lesson plans left by the permanent teacher.
• Ability to create a climate of respect and fairness for all students.
• Ability to establish and maintain appropriate classroom behavior/management.
• Willingness to be on call to cover absences of the regular teaching staff.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the school principal

**Education and Experience**: Applicants must have a valid Missouri Teacher certificate, a Missouri Substitute certificate, or 60 hours of college credit from an approved college and/or university.

**Salary:** $165.00 per day with substitute certification; $175.00 per day with teacher certification

**Everyday Substitute Positions Available:** 5-day and 4-day substitute teacher positions available

• Business Education 9-12
• Elementary Education K-5
• Middle School Education 6-8

\*\* Effective September 1, 2016, newly hired personnel **will be required to obtain a new fingerprint background check with the WGSD named Requesting Agency**. Fingerprint instructions will be given after a successful interview. \*\*
