Instructional Aide, Walter Ambrose Family Center

## 2026-2027 School Year

**Primary Objective:** To assist classroom teachers in the instructional process, reinforcing instruction to individual or small groups of students in a classroom environment. Assist in the preparation of instructional materials and implementation of lesson plans and provide routine support. Assist students with academic and/or physical needs in order for students to access the educational environment.

**Essential Functions:**

• Schedule 9:15 AM - 5:15 PM
• Assist teachers with instruction of students in the classroom
• Assist teachers as needed (i.e., keeping the students engaged in the learning process)
• Assist at rest time hours as assigned
• Opportunities for summer work
• Other duties as assigned

• **Education**: Minimum of (60) sixty college hours. Does not need to be in early childhood or related field.
• **Benefits:** Eligible
