Instructional Aide, Avery Elementary

## 2026-2027 School Year
**Primary Objective:** Under the direction of the building principal, assist certified staff in supporting students; monitor and report student progress.
**Essential Functions:**

• Assist teachers with instruction of individual and small groups of students in the classroom
• Assist counselors in their support of students
• Assist with building supervision including but not limited to hallway, lunch, and recess
• Other duties as assigned

• **Education**: High school diploma or equivalent is required. Minimum of (60) sixty college hours
• **Experience:** 1-3 years of job-related experience is required
• **Certification:** Missouri teacher certification and/or substitute teacher certification preferred
• **Hours of Employment**: 8-hour shift
• **Base Pay:** $17.91/hourly
• **Benefits:** Eligible
• **FLSA Status**:Non-exempt
