**Position Summary**

The role of the Occupational Therapy Assistant reports to the Physical Medicine Manager. This position is responsible for providing patient care under the supervision of licensed occupational therapy staff.

**Essential Position Responsibilities**

  • Assist occupational therapist with patient care, as directed
  • Assist with maintaining records and patient schedules
  • Maintain department equipment including moving, disinfecting, and partnering with leadership regarding repair needs
  • Partner with department leadership regarding maintenance of department supplies

**Qualifications**

  • **Education:** Must be a graduate of an accredited occupational therapy assistant program.
  • **Licensure and Certifications:** ArkansasOTA license and CPR, required.
  • **Experience:** Previous experience in a clinical setting, preferred.

**Work Environment:** This position will spend up to 80% of the time standing and/or walking whole pushing, pulling, lifting and/or carrying up to 50 lbs and 20% of time sitting while performing work in a standard office environment.
