CDL Driver, Class A

## Description

A Philabundance Driver carries out the primary operation of the organization - efficiently picking up and delivering donated surplus, prepared and perishable foods in the Philadelphia region. Drivers work an 8-hour shift between the hours of 5am and 5pm, M-F. Overtime, evening, weekend and/or holiday hours may be required as necessary.

## Qualifications

Required Experience

• 1+ year of commercial driving experience
• Experience in safely operating and maintaining commercial vehicles
• Familiarity with local and regional traffic laws and regulations

Required Skills and Abilities

• Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A, with a clean driving record
• Ability to perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance checks
• Strong communication skills for interacting with team members and clients
• Excellent time management skills to ensure timely deliveries
• Ability to lift and move heavy objects as required
• Knowledge of GPS and navigation systems for efficient route planning
