About The Role
## Description
The Talent Acquisition Specialist is responsible for sourcing, screening, and recommending candidates for positions at Philabundance. Primary responsibilities include developing and executing recruitment plans, coordinating the job offer process, and ensuring all hiring activities comply with local, state, and federal regulations.
This role also requires moderate to high proficiency with an HRIS system (preferably Paycom) and close partnership with the Human Resources team to support onboarding, HRIS data accuracy, and benefits administration workflows. The Talent Acquisition Specialist serves as a key partner and primary consultant to hiring managers, search committees, and the Human Resources team, while continuously identifying opportunities for process improvement across recruitment and onboarding practices.
**Talent Acquisition & Recruitment**
- Strategize and manage the full hiring process with attention to time‑to‑fill goals, budget, compliance, and team development needs.
**HRIS, Onboarding & Benefits Support**
- Maintain moderate to high proficiency in HRIS functionality, preferably Paycom, including applicant tracking, employee records, and reporting.
**Process Improvement & HR Support**
- Identify opportunities for continuous improvement in recruitment, onboarding, and HRIS workflows to enhance efficiency, candidate experience, and compliance.
- Develop, document, and refine recruitment and onboarding processes and templates.
## Qualifications
- At least three (3) years of experience in HR, recruiting, or a related role.
- Strong oral and written communication skills with experience in marketing, interviewing, presentation, and interpersonal communication.
- Ability to learn and understand organizational business needs, workflows, and priorities.
- Demonstrated ability to identify, interview, evaluate, and recommend candidates.
- Critical thinker with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and an Applicant Tracking System (ATS).
- Experience using an HRIS platform, preferably Paycom, including onboarding and reporting.
- Comfortable engaging with candidates of diverse backgrounds and senior leadership.
- SHRM Certification a plus.
