We are currently seeking a **Full-Time Certified Medication Technician (CMT)** to join our team at **Jefferson City Correctional Center**located in**Jefferson City, Missouri.**

The **Certified Medication Technician (CMT)** Under the direction of the facility Director of Nursing/nursing designee, administers medications as prescribed, documents administration and documents and reports any noted adverse actions or side effects.

**Available Shift: Full-Time Day shift**

## Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalent required
• Must maintain active status on the Missouri State Certified Medication Technician (CMT) Registry (<mo.tmutest.com>)
• Insulin Certification required
• Completion of an approved Certified Nurse Assistant program and maintenance of active status as a Certified Nurse Assistant (<mo.tmutest.com>)
• Must show/obtain current Purified Protein Derivative (PPD) documentation for tuberculosis screening
• Must be appropriately and actively certified in Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) and Automated External Defibrillator (AED) use
• Must be able to pass a background investigation and obtain agency security clearance where applicable
• One (1) year of experience in acute care, emergency, or correctional setting preferred
