**Centurion is proud to be the provider of comprehensive services to the Illinois Department of Corrections.**We are currently seeking a **full-time Travel Registered Nurse (RN)**to join our **Centurion Eagles Travel Team** at **Shawnee Correctional Center in Vienna, IL.**Our travelers have opportunities throughout the country and are full-time, benefit-eligible Centurion employees.

The **Travel Program RN** will work between various facilities/locations throughout the state of Illinois, per contract needs. Each assignment will be restricted to one location. The **RN** is responsible for providing holistic nursing care within the appropriate scope of practice to incarcerated patients. Registered Nurses work under the direction of the Director of Nursing and/or Nursing Supervisor and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to identify, assess and respond to a wide range of physical, psychological and social needs of the patient.

## Qualifications

• Licensed RN with an active license to practice in Illinois
• Minimum of one year of work experience as an RN in a community outpatient clinic, hospital or long-term care facility preferred
• License reimbursement after 90 days employment
• Must live 90+ miles from the selected facility
• Corrections experience preferred
• Previous travel nursing experience preferred
• Must be appropriately and actively certified in Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)/ BLS
• Ability to obtain a security clearance, to include drug screen and criminal background check
