We are currently seeking a **part-time Mental Health Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)**to join our team at **Western Reception, Diagnostic and Correctional Center** located in **Saint Joseph, Missouri.**

The **Mental Health Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)** is responsible for providing holistic nursing care within the appropriate scope of practice to incarcerated patients. Mental Health Nurses work under the direction of the Director of Nursing and/or Nursing Supervisor and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to identify, assess and respond to a wide range of physical, psychological and social needs of the patient. Mental Health nurses may also participate in and lead group classes for incarcerated patients as needed.

## Qualifications

• Missouri Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license required
• Must be IV Certified
• Must be actively certified in Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) and Basic Life Support (BLS)
• High school diploma or GED equivalent required
• Experience working in mental health preferred
• Corrections experience not required
• Ability to obtain a security clearance, to include drug screen and criminal background check
