**Centurion is proud to be the provider of comprehensive healthcare services** **to the Maryland Department of Public Safety and Correctional Services*.***

We are currently seeking a part-time **Advanced Practice Professional (NP/PA) with experience in managing addiction disorders**andproviding primary careat the **Jessup Correctional Institution** in **Jessup, Maryland**.

***This position will occasionally travel to the Western Region Facilities in Hagerstown and Cumberland.***

This position is a full-time position working with the SUD program to prevent, intervene, treat and manage addictive disorders. **The days are Monday – Friday Day Shift**

The Nurse Practitioner works under the supervision of a physician in a correctional environment and is responsible for assisting in the delivery of health care and patient care management. This includes collaborating with a multidisciplinary team, performing assessments, diagnosing patients, and medication management.

## Qualifications
**Qualifications**

  • Active, unrestricted Maryland APRN license
  • Ability to pass background check
  • 2+ years experience working as an NP
  • Current Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA) registration
  • One to two years’ experience in a progressive supervisory or management position in an outpatient/inpatient substance abuse program
  • Two years’ experience providing direct care in a community or correctional substance abuse program
