The **Infection Control LPN** develops, and updates policies and procedures related to infection control with current standards of practice. This person ensures compliance and works closely with staff in prevention and control of infection.

## Qualifications

• Active LPN license to practice in Maryland
• Minimum of two years of experience working in a public health or acute care setting with a focus on Infection Control
• CIC – Certification in Infection Control preferred
• Experience working in corrections preferred
• Must be appropriately and actively certified in Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)/ BLS
• Ability to obtain a security clearance, to include drug screen and criminal background check
