We are currently seeking a**PRN Dental Assistant** for an opportunity at **Reception Diagnostic Correctional Facility** located in **Plainfield, Indiana.**

The **Dental Assistant** (Indiana) works under the direct supervision of the Dentist and/or Dental Hygienist in chairside dentistry in a correctional setting.

**Essential Duties:**

• Preparing and sterilizing dental instruments
• Preparing and maintaining the dental operatory
• Operating radiographic equipment
• Administrative tasks as needed

## Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalent required
• Completion of a technical school program in dental assisting or minimum six (6) months of experience as a Dental Assistant required
• Certification in Dental Radiology required
• Certification as an Expanded Duty Dental Assistant preferred
• Must show/obtain current Purified Protein Derivative (PPD) documentation for tuberculosis screening
• Must be appropriately and actively certified in Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)
• Ability to obtain a security clearance, to include drug screen and criminal background check
