Dental Hygienist (81680)

## Description
We are currently seeking a full-time **Dental Hygienist** to join our team at **Desoto Annex**located in **Arcadia**, **Florida**.
The Dental Hygienist performs oral hygiene treatment for offenders to include prophylaxis, curettage, and other hygienist procedures in a correctional setting.

Essential Duties

• Operating radiographic equipment to obtain dental radiographs of patients
• Maintaining patient dental records
• Completing required reports/paperwork
• Providing personal oral hygiene education and instruction individually or in a group setting

## Qualifications
**Qualifications**

• High school diploma or GED equivalent required
• Successful completion of a dental hygiene program required
• Florida Dental Hygienist license
• Must show/obtain current Purified Protein Derivative (PPD) documentation for tuberculosis screening
• Must be appropriately and actively certified in Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)
• Ability to obtain a security clearance, to include drug screen and criminal background check

• Available Shift: Days, 8hr day shift Monday - Friday
