**Centurion is proud to be the provider of comprehensive services to the Maryland Department of Public Safety and Correctional Services.**We are currently seeking a **Per Diem Mental Health Registered Nurse (RN)**to join our **Behavioral Health team at Maryland Correctional Institution for Women located in Jessup, Maryland.**

The **Registered Nurse (RN) (Mental Health)** is responsible for providing holistic nursing care within the appropriate scope of practice to incarcerated patients while working under the direction of the Director of Nursing (DON) and/or Nursing Supervisor and collaborating with a multi-disciplinary team to identify, assess, and respond to a wide range of physical, psychological, and social needs of patients.

## Qualifications

• Must hold valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Maryland; BSN preferred but not required
• Progressive experience in nursing care with a minimum of 2 years of supervisory experience preferred
• Must be appropriately and actively certified in Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)/ BLS
• Experience working in a correctional or behavioral health environment preferred
• Ability to obtain a security clearance, to include drug screen and criminal background check
