Reports To: Spray Dry Manager
Salary Range: DOE
Status: Non-Exempt (Hourly)
- Schedule: Full Time (40 hours or more per week)
- Shift: Day (6:00 AM – 3:00 PM), Swing (2:00 PM – 11:00 PM), or Graves (10:00 PM – 7:00 AM) Hours are subject to change.

JOB SUMMARY
The goal of the Manufacturing Technician position at Sensapure is to successfully complete day-to-day operations in liquid compounding of Sensapure's manufactured flavors. Sensapure works primarily on protein beverages, powders, and energy drinks, and has experience working with flavored syrups, alcoholic popsicles, and wine seltzers. In this unique position, you will assist in managing raw material inventory, spray drying operations, and support of shipping and receiving operations.
MAIN JOB FUNCTIONS
- Produce batches that meet all quality parameters in a timely manner.
- Ensure equipment is properly maintained and operational.
- Ensure that chemicals are accurately weighed to preserve batch integrity.
- Maintain a correct chemical inventory.
- Perform assigned tasks according to food safety policies outlined by SQF, HACCP, and SOP documents.
- Control the cost of batches by eliminating scrap and waste.
- Will be involved in all aspects of manufacturing from shipping/receiving, inventory control, facility cleaning, and drying process.
- Other duties and functions may be assigned.
EDUCATION
A high school diploma or GED is required.
WORK EXPERIENCE
1 year or more experience in chemical handling preferred prior mixing experience preferred/will train.

WORK ENVIRONMENT
This position almost constantly works on the manufacturing floor. There is sufficient noise to cause employees to shout in order to be heard above the noise level, vibration, working near moving mechanical parts, fumes or airborne particles, and close quarters. May be exposed to allergens.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
This position frequently requires the use of hands, hearing/listening, talking, standing, walking, bending/stooping, climbing stairs/ladders, kneeling/squatting, reaching overhead, pulling/pushing, and lifting up to 50 pounds.
