**Job Type:** Full-Time, Non-exempt
**Pay:** Hourly, Biweekly
**Schedule:** Monday through Friday 8 AM to 4:30 PM with a half-hour lunch or 5 PM with an hour lunch. This position requires 40+ hours a week depending on workload.

**Job Summary:**
We’re looking for a versatile HR & Accounting Specialist who can manage both our people and financial operations. This is a hands-on role where you’ll handle a variety of responsibilities—from recruiting and employee relations to payroll and bookkeeping. The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, and enjoys working in a fast-paced, small-team environment.
**Key Responsibilities:**
Human Resources
- Manage full-cycle recruiting: job postings, interviews, onboarding, and offboarding.
- Administer payroll, benefits, and time-off requests.
- Maintain employee records and ensure compliance with labor laws.
- Support performance reviews, employee engagement initiatives, and company culture programs.
- Assist with policy development and implementation.
- Address employee questions and concerns with professionalism and confidentiality.
**Accounting & Finance:**
- Process accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Maintain accurate financial records and assist with month-end close.
- Prepare reports for management, including budgets and expense tracking.
- Reconcile bank statements and monitor cash flow.
- Assist with tax filings, audits, and compliance as needed.
- Support other ad hoc financial tasks as required.
**Qualifications:**
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Accounting, or a related field
- 3+ years of combined HR & accounting experience
- Proficiency with payroll software and accounting software
- Experience with benefits administration and employee relations
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Excellent organizational and leadership abilities, able to work under minimum supervision.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to handle confidential information with integrity and discretion.
