## **Job Title:** Landscape Mechanic / Small Engine Technician

### **Position Summary**

We are seeking a skilled Landscape Mechanic to maintain, diagnose, and repair commercial landscape equipment, with a strong focus on 2-cycle and small engine repair. This role supports our field operations by ensuring equipment is safe, reliable, and ready for daily use.

### **Salary** $20-$25 per hour

### **Key Responsibilities**

• Diagnose, repair, and maintain 2-cycle engines (trimmers, blowers, chainsaws, hedge trimmers, etc.)
• Perform repairs and preventative maintenance on commercial landscape equipment, including mowers and small engines
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and fuel system issues
• Conduct routine inspections to ensure equipment is operating safely and efficiently
• Maintain accurate service and repair records
• Coordinate repairs to minimize equipment downtime
• Operate company vehicles to transport equipment as needed
• Follow all company safety procedures and manufacturer guidelines

### **Qualifications**

• Minimum of **3 years of verifiable experience** repairing small engines and commercial landscape equipment
• Strong knowledge of **2-cycle engine repair**
• Experience with commercial-grade landscape equipment preferred
• **Valid driver’s license** with a **clean driving record for at least 3 consecutive years**
• Must be **eligible to work in the United States**
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
• Strong attention to detail and safety
• Basic knowledge of preventative maintenance programs
• Experience in a commercial landscape environment

• Ability to work in outdoor conditions and a shop environment
