**Salary Range:**

$20.00-$25.00 per Hour USD

\*Final agreed upon compensation will be based on a variety of factors including but not limited to an individual’s related experience, education, certifications, skills, and work location.

**What you will be doing:**

Camburg Engineering is seeking a motivated and mechanically inclined individual to support our R&D damper development program. This hands-on role is central to shock absorber assembly, dyno testing, vehicle integration, and the documentation of development data. An ideal candidate is eager to learn, mechanically skilled, and comfortable in a fast-paced performance engineering environment.

**Responsibilities:**

  • Hands-on damper assembly and disassembly across all Camburg shock product lines
  • Execute tuning changes to shock valving, shim stacks, and fluid specifications per engineer direction
  • Perform shock dynamometer testing — operate dyno, record sweep data, log results
  • Install and uninstall shock assemblies on test vehicles; support on-vehicle evaluation sessions
  • Assist with production build support as required by scheduling demands
  • Collect, organize, and input data into R&D development sheets and tracking documents
  • Maintain R&D documentation with accuracy — dev sheets, part revision logs, test records
  • General shop upkeep — maintain cleanliness, organization, and tool accountability

## Qualifications
**Requirements:**

  • Mechanical aptitude — comfortable using hand tools, torque wrenches, and shop equipment
  • Basic computer skills — data entry, spreadsheets, documentation software
  • Knowledge of shock absorbers and damper assembly is a plus; willingness to learn is required
  • Ability to lift 75 lbs unassisted
  • Willingness to learn new skills and adapt to evolving R&D tasks
  • Team-oriented with good attention to detail and a strong work ethic

**What you need:**

  • Hands-on shop and lab environment — standing, bending, and lifting are routine
  • Direct collaboration with senior R&D engineer and the broader Camburg engineering team
  • Exposure to off-road suspension testing, vehicle builds, and race development programs
