About The Role

## Description

The **Outreach Explorer III – Full Time** reports to the Outreach Manager and serves as an advanced performer who independently leads dynamic, high-impact, inquiry-based learning experiences through TECH Trucks, outreach vans, camps, and outreach programs for PreK–8 audiences. This top-tier role exemplifies exceptional informal education and entertainment, consistently delivering memorable, audience-captivating programs.

### **Essential Duties & Responsibilities**

  • Independently lead TECH Trucks, outreach vans, and camp programs with minimal supervision
  • Train and mentor Tier I and II facilitators
  • Innovate program delivery and suggest improvements to curriculum
  • Represent the Museum at high-profile community events and partner programs
  • Provide detailed program feedback and evaluation data
  • Perform other related duties as assigned

## Qualifications
### **Qualifications**

  • 2+ years of experience in performance, informal education, or museum programming
  • Exceptional ability to engage and entertain diverse audiences
  • Proven leadership in group settings with children
  • Enthusiasm for inquiry-based learning
  • Valid driver's license with auto insurance
  • Successful audition demonstrating advanced engagement and informal education performance style — the highest performance standard

**Preferred Experience**

  • Bilingual in Spanish
  • Theater or improvisation experience
