Kawasaki Tennessee, Inc. is currently looking for a **Machining Night Shift (3rd Shift) Team Leader** to help guide operations in our Aluminum Die Casting facility. This is a **hands-on leadership position** where you’ll work directly with the production team to keep machining operations running safely, efficiently, and at the highest quality standards. We are hiring for 3 positions currently.

## What You'll Do
As a Machining**Team Leader**, you’ll play a key role in keeping the machining department operating smoothly and safely.

Your responsibilities will include

• Leading and supporting the **Machining Department team**
• Monitoring production activities and helping the team meet **department goals**
• Ensuring **Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)** are followed and helping improve them when needed
• Assisting with **machine setups and tool changes**
• Troubleshooting machines and assisting with **repairs**
• Performing **preventative maintenance and routine machine checks**
• Maintaining **Safety and Quality standards**
• Participating in **continuous improvement and Kaizen activities**, including defect investigations, cost-saving ideas, and process improvements
• Supporting additional operational needs as assigned

## Qualifications

## Preferred Experience

• Proficiency with **Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook**
• **Kanban experience** is a plus
• Previous **leadership experience is ideal**

## Physical Requirements

This position requires

• Frequent **walking, standing, bending, squatting, and lifting**
• Regular **computer use**
• Occasional lifting of **up to 50 pounds**
