Digital Press Operator - Canon ProStream (Roll-Fed) - 2nd Shift (3150)

## Description
**WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING**
As a key member of the digital department, this position will set up and operate our Digital roll-to-roll press.
Produce high quality product in the most efficient and cost-effective manner with attentiveness to customer specifications, delivery requirements, and production targets.

• **RESPONSIBILITIES:**
• This list of duties and responsibilities is not all inclusive and may be expanded to include other duties and responsibilities, as management may deem necessary.

• Setup, operate and troubleshoot Digital Roll-to-Roll Press.
• Perform color matching of supplied materials.
• Interpret, document and communicate diagnostic feedback from the equipment and act upon information to resolve production or maintenance issues.
• Ability to read and understand job tickets.
• Complete the necessary paperwork required for each job.
• Communicate effectively with prepress, press operators, customer service and management.
• Maintains all necessary equipment and performs monthly inventory on departmental items

## Qualifications

• Willingness and ability to work 2nd Shift hours (3PM to 11 PM CST)
• A mechanical aptitude.
• Experience running a Canon ProStream 2000
• Drive and high energy, combined with a commitment to accountability and integrity.
• Adaptability is a key asset for excelling in our fast-paced, ever-changing work environment.

**EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:**

• Requires a high school diploma. Previous experience in print industry preferred but willing to train.

**TOOLS AND TECHNOLOGY:**

• Ability to use a computerized system to record operations.
• Ability to operate and trouble-shoot digital press machines.
