**Body Technician**
**Job Summary:**
The Body Technician is responsible for repairing damaged vehicle body parts and ensuring the work meets factory and dealership specifications and time standards.
**Key Responsibilities:**

• **Vehicle Repairs:** Perform vehicle repairs according to estimates and manufacturer standards.
• **Parts Verification:** Verify parts against the estimate and ensure proper parts are ordered and received.
• **Preparation:** Prepare vehicles for body repair work, ensuring all necessary steps are taken for quality results.
• **Additional Repairs:** Inform management of any additional repairs needed beyond the initial estimate.
• **Problem Reporting:** Notify management of any issues that may affect the quality of work or alter the promised completion time.
• **Tool Maintenance:** Maintain tools and equipment in proper working condition.
• **Safety Practices:** Wear all required personal protective equipment (PPE), including respirators, and follow the manufacturer's recommendations for usage.
• **Regulatory Compliance:** Adhere to all laws and regulations regarding hazardous materials, such as paint and thinners, and report any non-compliance to management.
• **Team Collaboration:** Assist and cooperate with other team members in vehicle repair and preparation.
• **Knowledge of Regulations:** Stay informed of and comply with federal, state, and local regulations impacting body shop operations, including hazardous waste disposal and OSHA Right-to-Know guidelines.
• **Safe Operations:** Operate all tools and equipment in a safe and responsible manner.
