**Position Summary:** We are seeking a highly skilled Healthcare Data Integration Engineer to design, develop, and maintain API integrations, data warehouse pipelines, and automation workflows supporting our Behavioral Health organization. This role will play a critical part in building and optimizing our data lake and analytics infrastructure while ensuring seamless integration between EHR systems, third-party applications, and business intelligence platforms. The ideal candidate has strong experience in API development, Qlik scripting, SQL, JSON, JavaScript, and Microsoft Power Platform (Power Automate / Power Fx), with a solid understanding of healthcare data environments.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Design, develop, and maintain secure API integrations between internal systems and external vendors.
  • Build and optimize data pipelines for data lake and data warehouse environments.
  • Develop and maintain Qlik scripts and data models for analytics and reporting.
  • Work with JSON data structures for API integrations and data transformations.
  • Write complex SQL and JavaScript queries and optimize database performance.
  • Develop automation workflows using Microsoft Power Automate and Power Fx.
  • Collaborate with IT, EHR, and leadership teams to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions.
  • Ensure compliance with HIPAA and healthcare data security standards.
  • Troubleshoot integration failures and implement proactive monitoring solutions.
  • Maintain technical documentation for integrations and automation processes.

## Data Engineer
**Qualifications:**

  • Must be NYS resident for in-person accessibility
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in:
  • API development and system integrations
  • SQL database development
  • JSON data structures
  • JavaScript
  • Qlik scripting and data modeling
  • Microsoft Power Automate / Power Fx
  • Experience working with data lakes and AWS data warehouse environments
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently in a remote or hybrid setting
  • Education
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Science, Software Engineering, Healthcare Informatics or related technical field
  • Experience
  • Equivalent practical experience (3–5+ years hands-on experience in API integrations and data engineering)
