## Description

**Position Summary**

The **Direct Support Professional (DSP)** plays a vital role in promoting the health, safety, and well-being of individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. You’ll support daily living activities, community engagement, and personal development, while advocating for individual choice and dignity.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Understands, supports, and advocates with people we support by helping them live a life of personal significance.
  • Identifies, documents, and shares concerns and successes as appropriate.
  • Transports and accompanies people to activities, appointments, and events.
  • Helps with personal care tasks as needed, laundry and food preparation.
  • Assists with money management by promoting independence.
  • Administers medications and documents information.
  • Additional duties as assigned.

## Qualifications

  • No previous experience or formal education required – we provide all the training you’ll need!
  • Must have a valid Pennsylvania driver’s license and a reliable, insured vehicle.
  • Able to pass required background checks (Act 33 and Act 34 clearances).
