**Position Summary**
The Production Maintenance Technician trains Team Members on assigned tasks in accordance with Individual Support Plans (ISPs) while ensuring the safe and efficient operation of machinery and facility equipment. This position is responsible for equipment maintenance, production support, and providing supervision and training to Team Members working within the production environment. Reports directly to the Plant Manager.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Supports the achievement of individuals with disabilities.
- Reports and repairs equipment difficulties promptly to minimize downtime.
- Identifies safety concerns related to assigned tasks, equipment, and environment.
- Constructs and develops custom pallets and crates.
- Performs routine inspections, lubrication, and cleaning of machinery.
- Adheres to OSHA regulations and ensures all equipment operates safely.
- Conducts preventative maintenance activities and troubleshoots machinery issues.
- Implements Individual Support Plans (ISPs) by providing supervision and hands-on training to assigned Team Members.
- Maintains all required ISP documentation and reports results daily to the Plant Manager.
- Implements production plans and schedules while meeting labor, material, quality, and productivity standards.
- Assists in initial job setup and the development of production standards.
- Compares production plans to actual implementation and recommends process improvements.
- Reports productivity information, behavioral changes, and other assigned data.
- Operates forklifts and other machinery (training provided in-house).
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
## Qualifications
- Equivalent of a High School Diploma and one (1) year of experience in manufacturing, maintenance, industry, or Human Services.
- Knowledge of production methods, manufacturing processes, and production standards.
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds, stand for extended periods, and work in environments with high noise levels and variable temperatures.
- Valid Pennsylvania Driver’s License required.
- Required clearances: Act 33 (Child Abuse), Act 34 (Criminal Record), and FBI Background Check.
