## Description

**Job Summary:**

The Trim Supervisor will oversee the finish/trim shop operations within the manufacturing facility, ensuring the highest standards of quality, efficiency, and safety. This role involves managing a team, coordinating projects, and collaborating with other departments to meet production goals.

**Key Responsibilities:**

**Supervision:** Lead and manage a team, providing guidance, training, and performance evaluations.

**Quality Control:** Ensure all processes meet industry standards and specifications. Conduct regular inspections and audits of quality.

**Safety Compliance:** Promote a safe work environment by enforcing safety protocols and conducting safety training for team members.

**Production Planning:** Collaborate with the production manager / plant manager to schedule and prioritize jobs based on production timelines.

**Process Improvement:** Identify and implement improvements to processes and techniques to enhance efficiency and reduce waste using Lean principles.

**Equipment Maintenance:** Ensure that equipment is properly maintained and serviced regularly.

**Documentation:** Maintain accurate records of necessary operations, including production reports, quality inspections, and employee performance.

## Qualifications

**Qualifications:**

**-** High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical training in welding preferred.

  • Proven experience in welding, with at least [insert number] years in a supervisory role.
  • Strong knowledge of welding techniques, materials, and equipment.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
