We are currently seeking a **Federal Contract Specialist IV in the Lakewood/Denver area**. *Particularly interested in****FAC-C, DAWIA, GS-1102***
**Contract Specialist - Essential Functions**
**Overview:**
The Contract Specialist is responsible for overseeing procurement processes, ensuring compliance with federal regulations, and managing contract administration.
**Core Responsibilities (Applicable to all levels):**
- Prepare solicitation documents and manage the procurement process.
- Receive, record, and review offers and modifications.
- Conduct cost/price analysis, participate in negotiations, and document fair and reasonable pricing.
- Maintain official contract files, ensuring compliance with federal and GSA procurement regulations.
- Process contractor invoices, resolve payment discrepancies, and perform closeout actions.
- Manage the placement and administration of both simplified acquisitions and formal contracts.
- Handle high-dollar transactions and maintain records in accordance with regulatory standards.
- **Essential Qualifications**
- **Contract Specialist – Level IV**
- Minimum of **8 years** of federal contracting experience, with construction project experience highly desirable.
- Preference given to candidates with **FAC-C, DAWIA, or GS-1102 certifications**.
- **Bachelor’s degree or procurement certifications required**.
**Conditions of Employment**
- U.S. Citizenship required
- Must participate in a federal background investigation
- A bachelor’s degree and (minimum) 8 or more years in communications
