# Position Summary

Hanover Foods Corporation is seeking a dependable Plant Sanitation B employee to support sanitation operations in the Freezer Department. This position is responsible for cleaning and sanitizing assigned areas in accordance with company, food safety, and sanitation standards.

# Essential Responsibilities

• Perform janitorial, sanitation, and general cleaning duties throughout assigned plant areas.
• Clean and maintain restrooms, wash stations, hallways, stairways, offices, and break areas.
• Restock required sanitation and janitorial supplies.
• Perform miscellaneous duties such as washing windows, cleaning offices, and painting.
• Assist the sanitation team with additional cleaning assignments as needed.
• Immediately report mechanical problems, unsafe conditions, or safety concerns to the supervisor.
• Wear required personal protective equipment and follow all safety procedures.
• Follow plant hygiene, Good Manufacturing Practices, food safety, quality, food security, and plant security requirements.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.

## Qualifications
# Minimum Qualifications

• Basic math and recordkeeping skills.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Ability to communicate effectively with supervisors and coworkers.
• Ability to work in hot, cold, wet, and noisy environments.
• Ability to work mandatory overtime as required.
• Dependable attendance and safe work habits.
• Ability to understand and follow written and verbal instructions.

# Preferred Qualifications

• Previous sanitation, janitorial, manufacturing, or food-processing experience.

# Physical Requirements

• Stand and walk for most of the workday.
• Frequently bend, squat, kneel, climb, reach, and use hands for cleaning tasks.
• Frequently lift and carry up to 20 pounds and occasionally lift or carry up to 100 pounds.
• Frequently push and pull materials or equipment weighing up to 100 pounds.
• Work around extreme cold, extreme heat, wet conditions, and loud noise.
• Safely perform duties in a safety-sensitive position, with or without reasonable accommodation.
