About The Role

## Description

We are seeking an experienced and motivated ***Physical Therapy Clinic Director*** to lead the daily operations, clinical quality, and growth of our outpatient rehabilitation clinic. This role is ideal for a licensed Physical Therapist who is passionate about patient care, team development, operational excellence, and building strong physician and community relationships.

As Clinic Director, you will serve as both a clinical leader and operational partner, helping drive exceptional patient outcomes, staff engagement, and clinic performance while maintaining a patient first culture grounded in accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

**Key Responsibilities**

Clinical Leadership & Patient Care

  • Lead and model evidence based, patient centered physical therapy care
  • Evaluate and treat patients while developing individualized treatment plans and functional goals
  • Ensure clinical quality, documentation standards, compliance, and regulatory requirements are consistently met
  • Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans to optimize outcomes

Foster a safe, inclusive, and service oriented environment for patients and staff

Team Leadership & Development

  • Recruit, onboard, schedule, and supervise therapists, PTAs, aides, and front office staff
  • Provide coaching, mentorship, and performance feedback to support growth and accountability
  • Build a collaborative, high performing clinic culture focused on teamwork and patient experience
  • Support continuing education and professional development initiatives

Operations & Financial Performance

  • Oversee day to day clinic operations, scheduling, workflow, equipment, and EMR utilization
  • Monitor clinic performance metrics including productivity, cancellations, patient visits, units per visit, and revenue performance
  • Partner with leadership on staffing plans, budgeting, and operational improvement initiatives
  • Ensure payroll accuracy, staffing efficiency, and responsible resource management

Growth & Physician Relations

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with referring providers and community partners
  • Support local outreach, marketing initiatives, and educational events to drive clinic growth and brand awareness
  • Identify opportunities to improve patient access, experience, and operational efficiency

## Qualifications

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy
  • Current and active Physical Therapist license in the applicable state
  • Previous outpatient orthopedic or rehabilitation experience required
  • Prior leadership or supervisory experience preferred

  • Ability to balance clinical excellence with operational and financial performance
  • Knowledge of healthcare compliance, documentation standards, HIPAA, and regulatory requirements
  • Experience with EMR systems and healthcare operations
