About The Role
## Description
Assemblers are responsible for producing components by assembling parts and subassemblies.
- Read and comprehend instructions and follow established procedures
- Collect all materials and equipment needed to begin the process
- Report on issues, malfunctions, or defective parts
- Must have good technical knowledge and possess great manual dexterity (skill in performing tasks with hands)
- Ability to read instructions represented in manuals, drawings, schematics, etc. and follow them with precision and follow established procedures
- Ability in using tools and machines
- Good communication skills
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and physical condition
- Demonstrated punctual and dependable performance
- Ability to work in a high-paced environment
- Position requires the ability to stand for prolonged periods of time
- Position may require bending, kneeling, and stooping
- Previous experience working in the metal manufacturing industry is preferred
- Exposed to shop elements such as noise, dust, odors, oil, and chemicals
