**SUMMARY**

**Quality Industries is seeking experienced Maintenance Technician. 2nd shift**

As a Maintenance Technician you may be required to perform tasks involved in the upkeep of the building and grounds, installation, maintenance, maintaining and repairing of hydraulic, pneumatic, electronic, mechanical and electrical systems on all production machines, equipment and building.

  1. **ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**

***Include but are not limited to the following, other duties may be applied;***

  1. 1. Perform general maintenance duties on building and machines.
  2. Be able to perform preventative maintenance on the machines.
  3. Assists in servicing and replacing minor plumbing fixtures.
  4. Performs minor electrical work not requiring a licensed electrician such as replacing light bulbs and fuses.
  5. Assists in minor carpentry and repair work.
  6. Maintain machinery, equipment, and tools by cleaning, lubricating, greasing, and/or oiling to ensure optimum working order.
  7. Applies paint, varnish, and stain to all types of surfaces in order to protect and beautify surfaces using appropriate tools and equipment.
  8. Performs related duties as required.
  9. Follow Plant specified job specification and task list.

  18. **QUALIFICATIONS**
  19. Mechanically adept
  20. Attention to detail
  21. Able to prioritize and work under schedule demands
  22. Good communication skills
  23. Computer literate
  24. Able to read all precision measuring instruments
  25. Ability to read and interpret specifications
  26. **EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE**
  27. A high school diploma or equivalent preferred
  28. Completion of vocational training and/or an apprenticeship
  29. Three (3) to five (5) years at a minimum preferred
  30. **LANGUAGE SKILLS**
  31. Effectively communicate and understand job instructions both verbally and written in the English language
  32. Ability to effectively interpret and translate instructions to other employees in a professional and respectful manner
  33. **MATHEMATICAL SKILLS**
  34. Ability to perform basic mathematical computations. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios and proportions to practical situations.
  35. **REASONING ABILITY**
  36. Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variable in situations where only limited standardization exists
  37. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form
  38. Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions
  39. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables

  4. **PPE REQUIREMENTS**
  5. Eye protection required in all areas of the production floor
  6. Foot apparel must cover all portions of the foot
  7. Safety shoes/boots with metal or composite toe protection are required within production areas
  8. Hearing protection equipment required while on the production floors
  9. Other PPE such as gloves are required based on the task at hand
