White Oak Manor Charleston is seeking a dedicated and experienced **Floor Tech** to work in our housekeeping department. Conveniently located at **I-26 and University Avenue on the Trident Hospital campus**, our facility is committed to delivering high-quality care and exceptional service to our residents. We are located on the bus line.

**Position Details:**

• Full-Time, time and a half pay for holidays worked
• Day Shift | Monday–Friday Schedule and every other weekend (days off during the week when you work a weekend shift)

**Position Summary:**On feet most of work time. Pushes, pulls, lifts cleaning supplies and equipment. Potential exposure when entering resident areas. Subject to reactions from heavy dust or housekeeping disinfecting solutions.

• Dry mops, wet mops, sweeps.
• Performs emergency housekeeping as needed.
• Strips floors and refinishes floors as needed.
• Keeps janitor closets neat and clean.
• Keeps mops and other supplies clean after each use.
• Stores equipment in proper areas.
• Reports supply and equipment needs for replenishing.
• Adheres to safety rules of the facility.
• Utilizes proper care and use of equipment.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
