## Description

The Pricing Coordinator plays a key role in enhancing the shopping experience by ensuring that pricing is clear, accurate, and reflective of promotions.

**Duties & Responsibilities**
- Serve customers throughout the store while modeling Hansen’s IGA Market culture and providing 'best in class customer service.
- Create in-store signage, sale tags, and price tags for all departments throughout the store.
- Discard old price tags and verify changes each week to ensure accuracy.
- Maintain consistent daily email communication with Support Office Pricing Team to discuss price changes and verification.
- Conduct daily walk-throughs of the store to confirm accurate prices in each department.
- Assist with creating UPC codes for perishable items.
- Assist with creating specialty signage for sale items and promotional events as needed.
- Assist with the training and mentoring of new Pricing Managers.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment by adhering to safety/sanitation regulations and procedures.
- Pass all internal/external audits.
- Protect Hansen’s IGA Market brand reputation through accurate retail signage and reflect all promotional pricing on a timely basis.
- Assist with all other store duties as needed.
## Qualifications
**Required Qualifications**
- Must be a minimum of 18 years of age due to required operation of store equipment.
- Prior experience in a grocery setting is preferred.
- Proficient computer skills, including data entry and spreadsheets.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Eagerness to interact with customers.
- Strong sense of team - ability to anticipate the needs of the team.
- Ability to work at a fast pace and efficiently.
- Ability to take initiative and make decisions independently regarding department needs and priorities, under general supervision.
- Excellent time management, prioritization, and organization skills.
- Ability to stand, walk, lift, bend, push/pull for extended periods of time.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
