School Social Worker DVS

## Description
**Specific duties and responsibilities:**

• - Supervises interns or other team members as directed by Supervisor of Curriculum
• Participates in staffing and program development
• Participates in planning/conducting professional workshops/teacher in-service training
• Contacts families/local school districts/DCP&P/IAIU or other agencies as needed
• Collaborates with school personnel on cases of suspected child abuse & makes reports to DCP&P
• Facilitates IEP meetings
• Reviews all files for perspective students and documents recommendations
• Attends meetings with parents/teachers
• Serves as a CST member
• Attends yearly Primary Restraint Technique (PRT) training.
• Responsible for any miscellaneous duties as assigned.
• Participates in PIP for improved job performance
• Facilitates IEP meetings
• Reviews all files for perspective students and documents recommendations

## Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree

• 3-6 months experience
• NJ Certified School Social Worker (MSW)
