**GENERAL SUMMARY****:**

The Barista prepares and serves high quality beverages from the Daily Dose Kafé. The Barista provides excellent and prompt customer service and maintains a clean and safe working environment.

## Qualifications

**Minimum Education, Training & Experience (includes licenses or certifications):**

**Education:**

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent required
• Food Handlers Card

**Experience:**

• Experience in the food service industry preferred but not required.
• Experience in retail industry preferred by not required.

**GENERAL ACCOUNTABILITIES AND ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:**

• Take, prepare and serve beverages of customer choice
• Clean and sanitize work areas, kitchen and dining room, utensils and equipment
• Check and record temperature of refrigerator(s)
• Provide customers with product details, such as coffee blends or preparation.
• Order, receive and stock supplies
• Receive and process customer payments
• Create materials for advertising daily dose specials, products or events
• Assisting Kitchen with washing or dishes, stocking grab and go and drink cases.
• Preparation of case items to restock.
• Delivering Patient Cart when needed.
• Assisting Kitchen staff with food service or at the cash register.
