## Description

**Summary**

Under direct supervision from assigned CNM Ingenuity Director or Manager, develops and presents short courses and/or workshops, providing personal and/or professional education. Specifically performs one or more of the following: Teaches short-term courses and workshops; creates curriculum; establishes and assesses student performance objectives; determines student grades and keeps accurate records. Mix of theoretical and practical sessions will be required to demonstrate student level of knowledge and understanding. A successful candidate will have experience and knowledge in multiple areas of behavioral heath to support our various non-credit programs in this area. Please address your educational and industry experience and skills in the areas listed in the minimums and preferences.

**Instruction Pay Rate: $60/ hr**

**Preparatory Pay Rate: $24/hr**

**Developmental Pay Rate: $54/hr**

## Qualifications

**Essential Knowledge and Skills**

  • Demonstrated knowledge of behavioral health theory and practice in the community
  • Demonstrated teaching or training skills.
  • Effective written and communication skills.
  • Exceptional customer service abilities.
  • Ability to adjust and adapt curriculum and teaching styles to meet the needs of various stakeholders and students.
  • Additional assignments based on skills may become available.
  • Other duties as assigned.

**Minimums**

  • Four years of experience in a behavioral health setting
  • OR Bachelor's Degree in Behavioral Health, Social Work, Counseling or related field (may count as four years of experience)
  • AND One (1) year of related teaching or training experience.

**Preferences**

  • Master’s degree in Behavioral Health, Social Work, Counseling or related field
  • Experience with development of curriculum or training materials
  • Familiarity with current trends and best practices in addiction recovery
  • Certification in Crisis Prevention and Intervention
  • Experience with trauma-informed approaches
  • Familiarity with community resources and social service programs
