Nurse (per diem)

## Description
**Location:**Gardner, MA - Northeast Corrections Center. Institution Medication for Opioid Use Disorder Program
**Schedule:** Per Diem.
**Pay rate:** $38.00-$44.00/hour. Weekend differential $10.00/ hour.

The **Nurse** is responsible for

• Administering medication to incarcerated patients who are enrolled in the Medication for Addiction Treatment (MAT) Program
• Triaging patients referred to treatment for Opioid Use and/or Alcohol Use Disorder
• Control, counting and administer medication in accordance with state and federal standards and regulation.
• Successful completion of 40 Hour Department of Correction New Employee Training

## Qualifications
**Qualifications:**

• Valid MA nursing license from accredited school required, LPN or RN
• Must have current CPR/BLS certification
• Experience in substance abuse/mental health field or an acute care inpatient healthcare environment preferred.
• DOC experience preferred
• Travel to multiple Northern region MOUD sites
