**Location:** Green Rock Correctional Center is a level 3 prison located in Chatham, VA. This program provides services to inmates who have volunteered to complete the Intensive Drug Treatment Program.

**Schedule:** Monday – Friday, 7:15 am – 4:15 pm with a 1-hour lunch break

**Pay Rate:** $28.846/hr. ($60,000 annually). Candidates with a CSAC, CADC, or equivalent license/certification are eligible for a pay rate of $31.25/hr. ($65,000 annually).

The **Counselor** is responsible for

• Facilitating group programming and meetings, individual counseling sessions, case management services, and clinical documentation.
• Conducting comprehensive assessments and individual treatment plans within established timeframes.
• Participating in multi-disciplinary treatment planning, case reviews, and conferences.
• Working closely with the Virginia Department of Corrections personnel to ensure quality delivery of services and promote a healing environment.

## Qualifications
**Qualifications:**

• Bachelor's Degree in Human Services field is required.
• State certification as a Substance Abuse Counselor (CSAC) in the state of Virginia or similar certification/license recognized by the Virginia Board of Professional Counselors is required within two (2) years of signing job description.
