Shuttle Driver

## Description
**Job Summary:** Responsible for transporting tomato trailers from the yard to the unloading stations.
**Essential Function:**

1. Transporting trailers safely from one area to another as directed by supervisor and management.
2. Follow the dumping order list that is supplied by the yard coordinator.
3. Perform simple vehicle maintenance; cleaning interior of vehicle, checking lights, checking tires, checking fluids, and reporting any vehicle issues to the proper supervisor.
4. Keep work area clean by picking up tomatoes and sweeping.
5. Perform other duties as assigned.

**Requirements:**

1. Requires the ability to follow verbal and written commands, work with others, and the ability to coordinate production with peers.
2. Requires the ability to work any shift.
3. Must be able to climb on and off truck several times hourly during a 8-hour shift.
4. Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
5. Must be able to use both hands and arms in full range of motion.
6. Some pulling and pushing along with some twisting will be required.
7. Must be able to work with some chemicals.
8. Must have good hand and eye coordination skills.
9. Must be able to work around moving equipment.
10. Must be able to drive motorized vehicle.
11. Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment.
12. Requires the ability to pass a pre-employment drug test.
13. Driver’s License is required with a DMV Printout.

**Work Environment:**

1. Exposure to high humidity
2. Loud noise
3. High traffic areas
