Director of Membership & Marketing

## Description

The YMCA of Indiana County is seeking a **Director of Membership & Marketing** to lead membership growth, retention, and community engagement. This leadership position oversees membership operations, marketing initiatives, and the Welcome Center team while ensuring an outstanding member experience.

**Responsibilities include:**

• Develop and implement strategies to increase membership sales, engagement, and retention.
• Lead all marketing efforts, including social media, digital and print advertising, email campaigns, promotional materials, and community outreach.
• Manage the YMCA's membership database (Daxko), member communications, reporting, and engagement tools.
• Oversee corporate memberships, third-party billing, membership refunds, and member account management.
• Supervise and develop the Welcome Center Coordinator and Membership Development Coordinator.
• Maintain a regular presence at the Welcome Center to support staff, provide excellent customer service, and ensure efficient daily operations.
• Monitor membership trends and performance metrics to drive continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with department leaders to promote YMCA programs and advance the organization's mission.

## Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, or a related field preferred.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in membership management, marketing, customer service, nonprofit leadership, or a related field.
• Previous supervisory experience preferred.
• Experience with CRM software; Daxko experience is strongly preferred.
• Knowledge of membership development, retention strategies, digital marketing, social media, and email marketing.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills.
• Strong analytical and project management abilities.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office; graphic design experience is a plus.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and provide exceptional customer service.

• Must obtain or possess required clearances (FBI Fingerprinting, PA PATCH, PA Child Abuse, and Mandated Reporter). CPR/AED/First Aid and required YMCA training must be completed within 90 days of hire.
