**Job Overview**

We are seeking a detail-oriented and dedicated Laboratory Technician to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting scientific research and quality control processes within our laboratory environment. This position requires a strong understanding of laboratory practices, including familiarity with FDA regulations and CGMP standards. The Laboratory Technician will be responsible for conducting experiments, analyzing data, and maintaining accurate records to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements while working with a team to fabricate and produce Dental Laser Components and sub-assemblies.

**Responsibilities**

  • Set up, adjust, and maintain laboratory equipment
  • Analyze the results of tests to ensure conformity to specifications, using special mechanical devices
  • Record test data, create and issue reports that use charts, graphs, and narratives
  • Perform a safety check on any equipment to be used in the daily operations and ensure all safety devices are functioning properly
  • Calibrate machines in department and make lab products and lubricants as needed
  • Performs general housekeeping duties in work area as needed
  • At end of shift, secures equipment and completes all necessary paperwork
  • Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor

  • Be able to stand/ sit for long periods of time
  • Experience in a clean-room environment
  • Experience with MS-Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
  • Basic understanding of chemistry

**Experience**

  • High school diploma or General Education Degree (GED) required
  • 2+ Years’ Experience in a Laboratory
  • Manufacturing Environment Experience Preferred
  • Experience with hazardous materials Preferred
  • Experience conducting small scale powder handling and preparation is a plus
  • Experience performing any cutting, scribing, or grinding operations Preferred
  • Experience working with isolation glove box is a plus
  • Experience with set-up and operation of laboratory and processing equipment
  • Experience with high temp furnaces Preferred
  • **Schedule:**
  • **Monday – Friday (Day shift, standard business hours)**
  • **Occasional Saturdays required based on business needs**
