Manager, Human Resources and General Affairs

**Job Summary**

This position is responsible for coordinating bi-weekly payroll and providing day-to-day support to Human Resources and General Affairs. The role supports payroll accuracy and compliance while also assisting with recruiting, onboarding, HR administration, and employee communications.

## Qualifications

**Essential Job Functions**

  • Coordinate and process bi-weekly payroll to ensure accuracy and timeliness.
  • Review and enter payroll changes including new hires, terminations, compensation updates, deductions, and benefit changes.
  • Prepare payroll records, spreadsheets, and reports, and help resolve payroll-related questions.
  • Process HR updates in the HRIS system.
  • Support recruiting activities including scheduling interviews, reviewing resumes, and new hire communication.
  • Assist with onboarding, benefits administration, open enrollment, and employee questions.
  • Help create and send HR announcements and support training or company event coordination.
  • Recommend process improvements and support other related HR and administrative duties as assigned.

**Marginal / Non-Essential Functions**

  • Support special projects and other reasonably related business duties as assigned.
  • **Work Environment & Physical Demands**
  • This position is primarily office-based with heavy keyboarding and prolonged computer use. Essential functions may be performed with or without reasonable accommodation.
  • **Required Qualifications**
  • One (1) or more years of experience in payroll, human resources, or a related administrative function.
  • Experience supporting payroll processing and maintaining confidential employee information.
  • Strong attention to detail, organization, and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office; HRIS experience preferred.

**Preferred Qualifications**

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or a related field preferred.
  • HR certification preferred (PHR).
  • Japanese or a second language is a plus.
