## JOB PURPOSE

Oversee and ensure the cleanliness and orderly condition of buildings. Supervise janitorial staff, coordinate cleaning schedules, and maintain high standards of cleanliness and safety.

## ESSENTIAL DUTIES

• Supervise, train, and evaluate janitorial staff.
• Inspect work areas to ensure cleanliness and compliance with established standards, which will be presented to you by your manager.
• Manage inventory by doing counts of and order cleaning supplies.
• Address and resolve any customer issues or complaints related to janitorial services with your managers oversite.
• Ensure proper use and maintenance of chemical cleaners and power equipment.
• Oversee the cleaning and maintenance of floors, including sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, and vacuuming.
• Under the direction of the Dallas Area Manager and with the approval of building manager, coordinate the stripping, sealing, finishing, and polishing of floors.
• Supervise, train and participate in the cleaning of windows, glass partitions, and mirrors.
• Oversee the cleaning and polishing of furniture and fixtures.
• Ensure dusting of furniture, walls, machines, and equipment is performed regularly with regard for open containers.

**Experience and Education:**

• Previous supervisory experience in janitorial or related field preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to manage and motivate a team.
• Knowledge of cleaning procedures and safety protocols.
