**Job Summary:**

The Furniture Pattern Technician Trainee will assist in creating and maintaining patterns and templates used in the production of furniture components. Under the guidance of experienced technicians and designers, the trainee will learn how to interpret design drawings, use hand tools, and understand the materials and techniques involved in furniture manufacturing. This role provides hands-on experience and training in pattern making, woodworking, and upholstery production.

**Key Responsibilities:**

• Support senior technicians in developing accurate patterns and templates for furniture production.
• Learn to read and interpret furniture designs, drawings, and blueprints.
• Assist in creating patterns for both wooden and upholstered components.
• Gain experience using hand tools, measuring equipment, and basic pattern-making methods.
• Work with design and engineering teams to understand design adjustments and prototype changes.
• Learn how to maintain and organize pattern templates and documentation.
• Observe and assist with troubleshooting production issues related to patterns.
• Follow company quality and safety standards at all times.
• Assist with maintaining fabric SKU information and reporting as needed for production systems.

• **Working Conditions:**

• Factory or workshop environment with exposure to tools, dust, noise, and machinery.
• May involve standing for long periods and handling materials or tools under supervision.
• Proper use of safety equipment (gloves, goggles, etc.) is required.
